Sipping the Nectar
As I write this our new President is preparing to sign into the law of
our land a very large cash expenditure plan that is intended to bring
prosperity to all. A majority of voters, citizens of our great country
have spoken and expect nothing less.
Nectar, known as the “Drink of the Gods” in Greek and Roman mythology
is in my opinion the foundation of the movement that has brought our
country to this perceived low point in prosperity. By sipping, it seems
to me that the phenomenon known as “Herd Mentality” is now in control.
You may agree or disagree with the President or with me however he is
my President as he is yours. We must plan that he succeeds as we all
need to feed and clothe our families and grow our country, now
competing with all the other great countries of the world.
A dose of reality
While the pundits and politicians expound their views, we all need to
accept that until something needed is produced and distributed to those
who need it in exchange for other needed goods, prosperity will not
continue in perpetuity. In my view, spending un-earned cash on
un-needed goods or projects should not happen. Excess moneys generated
from needed goods are to be used for the feel good projects.
The customers of Orbit Screens, Inc. are in the business of producing
and distributing needed, high quality materials to those who need them
at good prices. By doing our part along with thousands of other small
companies who produce a different, needed item we can again become a
prosperous nation. Let’s all dig in and do our part.
This Blog, “The Finer Cut”, by Brad is the third of many planned. Each
issue will cover a topic of interest about our machines, our industry,
our customers and more. I look forward to this task and am excited
about the opportunity to broaden our communications with our customers
and industry. I invite you to return and visit from time to time,
cruising back through issues to see what I may have been thinking of at
another time.
I also invite you, our reader to contribute by offering your comments.
