Material Management
|
Managing
both your materials and screening methodology, are arguably the most
important ingredients for successful screening.. Beginning with Orbital
Action you have selected one of Americas Finest General Purpose
Screening Plants. However, as with all screening plants, some materials
are virtually impossible to screen while those very same materials are
easy to screen when prepared or stored in a different condition.
Take,
for example, something common like flour as used for making
bread. As a grain, it is easy to screen, as ground and dry, again
easy to screen yet add a little water, butter etc. it becomes bread
dough, impossible to screen. When used to make noodles, it is forced
through a sieve to extrude the dough into a shape, something impossible
to do with a Screening Plant.
Trying to screen materials that
are not fit for screening becomes a costly procedure that can be
avoided by utilizing one or more of several methods of harvesting and
storing the materials you plan to screen.
If you work in the
Desert Regions, little care needs to be taken. However, most of the
World where screening is used to prepare select materials, one does
need to take some extra degree of care to preserve or improve the
materials condition for screening.
Since Top Soil is a common
screened material I will begin my comments about screening Top Soil in
my next Blog.
