Material Screening

Versatility
Versatility is feature number one from Orbital Action Screens.  Right from the start it became evident that Orbit Screens could perform well in many variable job assignments.

Introducing a new methodology where Mother Nature is one of your most able and best partner has enabled us to bring a new, low cost Screening ability to a very broad market place.

Capitalizing on the value added by our most able, no cost partner, we have focused on providing user friendly operating ability coupled with high performance in a compact, reliable, easily maintained and affordable package.

Screening materials such as Top Soil, compost Mulch, Log Yard Waste, Quarry strippings, Asphalt millings, Scarified Asphalt, Road Base Rock, River Run Rock, and Buried  Junk becomes a simple task.

Offered in three sizes, stationary or portable, we can fit your need to produce a high quality screened product at a very low  processing cost.

Screen opening sizes range from very small (any commercially available screen wire) to three inch. The screening element can be changed in minutes, right at the job site.

For about 10,000 years, the procedure to separate materials was to shake the material on top of a screen.Prospector  Think of the prospector from the 1800's walking up a stream, picking up material and shaking it looking for gold.

By changing the screen's composition, the screen's opening and the screen's size, materials of various size and composition can be screened.

Mechanization and scale provided the capability to process more and larger materials.
By applying conveyors, material can be moved an piled a short distance away.  But, shaking back and forth is inherently inefficient because of the 180 degree change in direction.

By spinning the screen, Orbit Screens has made a quantum leap in efficiency.  Check ourperformance charts for detail.
