Building homes on the mountain where lot costs start at 1 million and homes range into many millions. High altitude, difficult zoning and operating restrictions create problems for developers and contractors. Until Orbit Screens, excavated materials were usually hauled down the mountain and topsoil hauled back up.

With the orbit screen portability and small footprint, a permit was obtained to operate on a small plot on the mountain.

Rocks and roots were screened out leaving a very high quality top soil.

Top soil being spread on roadside scars enabling new plant materials to heal the exposed areas.
