Material ScreeningThe Finer Cut

Arizona- Second of a Series

Illegal Immigration is a huge problem facing this nation. Only recently, federal immigration officials raided a company in my home State of Iowa. The major investor/owners son is facing fines and prison charges. Nation wide countless employers have violated current law with impunity. It is my opinion that personal and political gains rather than working for US citizens as a Sovereign Nation has allowed the illegal employment situation to become so large it seems impossible to regain control.

My previous Blog, # 45 clearly stated a problem and hinted at a potential solution. Many of my fellow citizens and politicians look at such a giant problem and are overcome by a complete sense of mental bewilderment. How could any conceivable plan of action even begin to curb such a large and rapidly expanding scourge now heavily affecting all states and our nation? However, some see an opportunity for personal gain so watch out for those who want to engage in additional media blitz and political activities.

The solution lies in breaking down the problem into manageable elements. Persons considered illegal came into our country one person at a time. The employers employing such persons are again, one company and one employee at a time. Therefore, build the enforcement plan around facing each and every individual person and company violating the laws of our country one at a time.

The Plan: Both Houses of Congress approve funds and empowerment duties to all law enforcement agencies and judicial bodies at federal, state, county or cities levels to enforce all current immigration laws on the books. Failure of any agency to comply will result in withholding federal funds from any or all of federally supported law enforcement activities of such agency. This federal empowerment concept has been proven as in the federally mandated 55 mile per hour speed limit enforcement policy..

Enforcement starts at the southern border (photo story), rapidly expanding to the complete country. While we are seeing the media focus on Mexico, the problem is much broader and all illegal persons from any nation must be included.

Immigration officials, now numbering in the hundreds of thousands, need to focus on the problem, one person and one company at a time. Persons within our borders illegally arrived here one at a time and found their way to employment under their own power. They and companies employing them are breaking our laws and need to be arrested and charged.

Arizona has shown us the way to enforce current national immigration law. Establish a positive position, United States wide; if you are here illegally, you will face charges under current law. You will see a wave of illegal persons, one at a time franticly heading for their home country. You will also see any employer of illegal workers franticly purging their company’s payrolls of illegal workers, one at a time.

Happy screening,  Brad

Brads Blog, “The Finer Cut”, is another of many planned. Each issue will cover a topic of interest about our machines, our industry, our customers and more. I look forward to this task and am excited about the opportunity to broaden our communications with our customers and industry. I invite you to return and visit from time to time, cruising back through issues to see what I may have been thinking of at another time.

I also invite you, our reader to contribute by offering your comments. Please send your thoughts to Brad@orbitscreens.com , by letter or fax, 563-922 9060.
