Owner, Cost/Revenue Calculator
Many of us feel current times are tough; we feel the pinch and believe
we have little control over our lives. It seems those in Washington DC
believe and tell us, they know better than us how to live and work. It
is during these periods that it is most important to take a look at our
operations and find ways to improve, expand or cut back, calculate and
find a better, easier way of making profits.
If you have watched Orbit Screens in
Action, followed my Blogs and read my story, I think you will
believe as I; Orbital Action Screening brings a positive new profit
potential to a very wide spectrum of our select materials industry. Be
it; top soil, aggregates, millings,
mulch, compost, blending, or many other
products and industries, Orbit Screens work.
I now offer the “Calculator”
which
you may use at your will and whim. You can experiment with many
different ways of cash flow planning and operating your select
materials business. You may down load your calculator; copy it, save
it, etc. using it by plugging in different numbers or factors, then
quickly view the results. If you want to try another plan or a
different material, simply enter in new data. Your entered changes with
new answers will instantly appear.
To use, simply enter your local and personal company numbers into the
blue shaded cells and the formula goes to work for you. In
addition to working for Orbits Screens' portable screening plant, you
can use the calculator to review the performance of any screening
plant, including box screens and the other types.
The example pre-loaded with the calculator is representative of a Model
58 Orbit Screen lease/financed by a three year lease with a $1.00 buy
out at the end of the lease.
After you have our quote or a competitors quote for the machine of your
choice, go to the Finance/Lease
page, pick out a Finance/Leasing company and go to their web-site for a
quick quote of your monthly payment amounts. Once your monthly payment
is determined, enter the full invoice cost and monthly amounts in
Column A, Line 7 & 8 (blue shaded cells).

Happy screening, Brad
Brads Blog, “The Finer Cut”, is another of
many
planned. Each issue will cover a topic of interest about our machines,
our industry, our customers and more. I look forward to this task and
am excited about the opportunity to broaden our communications with our
customers and industry. I invite you to return and visit from time to
time, cruising back through issues to see what I may have been thinking
of at another time.
I also invite you, our reader to contribute by offering your comments.
