My Opinion
I
return to writing after a summer time respite doing many things we all
enjoy. I do however have many concerns regarding the
Administration
and Congressional actions that are affecting so many of our lives.
I am a small businessman as are most of my customers. I live and work
in a small community as do many of my customers. I see daily the
results of our current political turmoil caused in my opinion by trying
to hurry change without attending to the daily chores.
Change is inevitable however it must be implemented at a respectable
pace with all sides of issues being considered. This week, congress
returns to work with the Administration focused on making drastic
change, speaking loudly at every opportunity. I believe change as
proposed will cause long lasting economic problems. I am concerned that
the great American life we have fought for and worked our lives for and
raised our families for may be lost forever.
I took advantage of my right as an American citizen to write to my
delegation of Iowa elected officials in Washington expressing my
concerns. I am attaching this letter for your perusal. An open letter to the Iowa Congressional
Delegation.
I urge all who read this blog to take the time to express your views to
your delegation.
“CHANGE”, in my view must reflect the views of the majority of this
country’s citizens.
Let’s all do our part.
