The Finer Cut

Minutes Count

We all have been given an equal number of minutes each day. How we use those minutes in our business operating model affects our daily income levels. Simply put, a higher ratio of minutes counting toward producing a income generating product, vs. those minutes spent in support of but not producing an income producing product is an important factor benefiting profits.

Orbital Action Screening plants strive to maximize production time vs. support time, therefore we say, We show, You compare. We like to demonstrate our ability to excel at producing at a higher ratio of productive minutes than our competitors who are targeting the smaller operator needing freshly screened select materials in their every day operations.

Orbital Action achieves more in several ways, a few mentioned here. First, transporting to the job site, very easy. At the site, a quick set up, usually as quick as getting the first bucket load of material. Once producing, the hoppers are sized to provide a continuous flow of screened materials, not being interrupted by non-producing seconds.

As compared to competitive screens, such as a Box Screen, Orbital Action may show improvements in production ratios of two to three times over Box Screens. As one of our customers put it, I spent one third of my loader time making product and two thirds of the loader time cleaning up around the Box.

We ask, let us show you how to improve your profits, Call, 563-922 9230, e-mail, brad@orbitscreens.com and let us show, you decide.

Brads Blog, “The Finer Cut”, is another of many planned. Each issue will cover a topic of interest about our machines, our industry, our customers and more. I look forward to this task and am excited about the opportunity to broaden our communications with our customers and industry. I invite you to return and visit from time to time, cruising back through issues to see what I may have been thinking of at another time.

I also invite you, our reader to contribute by offering your comments. Please send your thoughts to Brad@orbitscreens.com , by letter or fax, 563-922 9060.

Happy screening
